Cool

Mine would probably agree! She dreads the words..."I'm heading out to the garage for a little while...!" She's knows that means I'll be back in a few hours...

Ryan,
First thing my mom did when Alan brought the Cobra by the first time was to ask him to take her for "a scary ride." She's not blue-haired but she is old enough to get SS.

If you have to ask, it's not worth trying to explain.

As a kid I grew up in Calif. during the 1960's. Unless you were there, you really can't understand how much cars were nearly (no offense meant) a religion. Problem was, I didn't get my license until 1972, and the golden age had passed. One of my most vivid memories was of the highway patrolman who lived across the street. As a hobby, he restored Austin Healy's. No big deal. But he had a good buddy who was a bail bondsman, and he would regularly drive up in an honest authentic 427 shelby cobra. It was red with the white stripe, the side pipes, what that car must be worth today. But back then he thought nothing of driving it all over town. And what a sound. That 12 year old kid never quite got over it. I'll be building mine soon.
