Default What do you think of our AP racer??

What do you all think??

Just recieved the wheels,(thanks again Dave M) and had the slicks mounted up.

Tomorrow is the first day we try the car out with the new changes at Cal Expo. It should be an amusing day...

Oh yeah!!!!! I'm drooling over that bad boy!!! THATS the way a Cobra needs to look AND be driven!

You running a live axle? What kind of specs of the front/rear suspension. I see you got some healthy camber going on the front. Toe in setting? Sway bars? Fine ride!

Got get 'em!

Ernie

David,

What are you running for a front suspension???? The offset of those wheels, coupled with FFR's stock (even the new adjustable control arms may not take it for very long) set up could lead to premature ball joint failure.........Just my own concerns, from one racer to another..........

Yours in Fords,

Bill S.

PS: Love the look...........Who gets the first drive, you or Mary????

What wheels are you running? They look like inexpensive chrome steel wheels but in 17"????? I hav ebeen thinking of going to a race type tire but all I can find is 15" wheels.

Aumoore, They are very light weight 3 piece aluminum "Real Racing" wheels. About $300. each.

You can find out more about them at www.rsracing.com

Bill, Thanks for the tip, I will keep an eye on the ball joints.

Ernie, Slightly changed FFR front suspension, and IRS in the rear. Custom front bar, and VPM rear swaybar.
