Gents,
This is not where this thread was originally going...(aluminum bodies for ERA's). But anything is possible.

David,
You expect a thread to stay on topic here...

David,
Thread hijacking, if properly executed, is an art form.
Cheers, Pete

We understand the significance of this thread & honestly are just trying to keep it up top!
We don't really have any interest putting an aluminum body on an ERA!

That's just FINE with him, he is in the process of starting the build. Bring tents, mosquito spray, and boots so the snakes don't bite your ankles. Please let him know what tools you will be bringing and what your expertise is--masonry, carpentry, trim work, etc.
....Shame on us ...two of the greats in the biz start a legitimate thread, and it is now off in never never land It is on top though after I hit "submit"

I was getting a tear in my eye at the thought of the Gasholes wanting me at the Fling, 'til I remembered Ned Beatty in "Deliverence". Does Turk play a Banjo?
TC, the new house started out a little shaky, I had to have the basement slab jackhammered and removed(only a 12k miscue, the sub and the concrete company had to eat it). That has got me 2 weeks behind and I have to finish by the first week of August(new school year). The part that is a real pain is getting my present house fit to sell. I've got a feeling I won't be seeing much of Lake Hartwell this year.

HHHHHHHmmmm,
Aluminum rebodies for other brands of replicas..........I wonder where that idea started (I knew I should have copywrited that idea)..............Wonder if they would work on a Contemporary Cobra ........David, I'll supply the car if you supply the body and labor ............Imagine the possibilities...............
