Superformance PPG Paint Codes
Hey guys and gals:
I'll make this short and sweet...
I'm gonna model my Shell Valley kit after the original car CSX-4039. It's of course an aluminum bodied car with a natural finish. Since mine is fiberglass, I can't have that exact look, so I was planning to go with a light silver color. I remember while I was looking at Superformance cars, that they had a silver that I really liked. Not the dark titanium color, but the lighter silver. If you have a Superformance brochure, you can see the color I'm talking about on the page that starts "This is our 200'x50' final assembly hall..." It's about the 8th page from the end...and th car in topic is in the very back of the hall on the left...next to last I believe.
If someone who has that color SPF car...or even someone who knows that exact PPG paint code, would you help me out and tell me what it is? I hate going through paint chips at the PPG place looking for that color...
Any help will be gladly appreciated.
Brent

Upon some searching on here, I found some similar postings...I guess the car I was looking at was the titanium color that Superformance offers. One user claimed that this color was in actuality PPG 35989 - Lamborghini Titanium Metallic 210 600. Can anyone second this before I go order a half gallon?

Okay guys...on second thought...I'm not for sure if that's the color or not...
Does anyone have the paint code for the regular SPF silver?
I need help.

Blykins-
35989 is SPF Titanium and it is from 94'- 95' (I think) Lamborghini.
Sorry, but can't help you with the silver.

Bly - the Titanium is the darker color. The color you are looking for is the plain Silver - very nice color. LOTS of metallic in it.

So that light SPF silver is not a PPG color?
