Short Legs?
Any idea's for the females or even the gents with legs that need to be a little longer to comfortably reach the clutch? And, yes - the seat is allllllll the way forward
Thnx

Platform shoes, from the '60s
I'm probably the most vertically challanged member of this group, (just ask BIG BOB), I've used a pillow between me and the back of many a seat, doesn't show, and "makes my legs longer".

Change the pedal locations. This can be done in a variety of ways, depending on what you currently have.
A few ideas:
Cut and reshape the pedal arms.
Mount a movable pedal box.
Extend the pads on the pedals.
You should be able to engineer something. It may involve metal fabrication, welding, etc. Now an adjustable pedal setup (for tall and short people) may take some extra engineering.

Thanx Rodney,
Great idea. I know a really good fabricator that could make me a set if I don't find what I need from an other source.

I would think a closer steering wheel is dangerous in a collision...Tyfaim should get the pedals moved, IMHO.

My wife would like to drive the Cobra but has trouble depressing the clutch pedal. Even with a pillow behind her, the clutch is too stiff.
She accuses me of doing that on purpose so she can't drive it!

Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
To live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
`Round here
Short People are just the same
As you and I
(A Fool Such As I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It's A Wonderful World)
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
'Round here

My "Sort Legs" saga has come to an end! Thank you Obus Forme back support!!!! Reaching the clutch is not longer an issue for me! My not so thrilled boyfriend "owner" of the cobra is not quite as tickled with my little solution as I. Hmmm.... Back to the drawing board for him to come up with the next 'road block'
