Anyone going to Nashville, TN for the Shelby meet, May 23-25?
I am trying to arrange to get 4 Cobras to Nashville with only three drivers. The trailer hitch won't attach correctly to the 427, so I'm up a creek! I've got a partially assembled 289 (CSX 2149) that I'd like to take to the meet on a trailer. Anyone out there from NC that has experience pulling a trailer that wants to go? I'll provide the tow vehicle and the gas, and a caravan of two other Cobras for you. It should be a great show and the track at Nashville is supposed to be a wonderful facility.

I can not help you on this one but just the other nite a freind called me and asked if I'd like to go.... Seems he was going with four or five guys and now they backed out and he has two extra rooms... He was not planning on bringing any cars (has a bunch of Mustangs),just four of us in his wife's Expedition. Still not sure if I will go,will know later next week and if I'm there,I'll definetly look for you and could possibly take home one of those little funny looking cars for you,to my home that is.....

David, Your offer is much too generous!! I just can't accept such a gift from a stranger. Come to think of it, I think my mother warned me about offers like this. Please look me up at the show. You'll probably be able to smell me a mile off since I will come straight from week of backpacking in the mountains with 80 11th graders, no deoderant allowed. I figure just standing near the car will keep anyone from getting too close.

O.K. here I set.. thinking to my self.. Sandy, we could go see the sites while we are out there... Honey, we could go see Elvis, Honey we could go to the Grand Ole' Opery........

Somebody!!!! please help me make up some kind of half ars story that I could tell my wife of all the good things we could do while out there..... I only live 20 min. from Jim!!!!

I have a volunteer for you, my father Sam lives in Danville and was thinking of comming anyway. He has tons of experience towing various race and show vehicles. Give him a call at the numbers below if you are still looking for a driver. Rob
