I advise you to find a Kirkham owner in your area and practice scotchbriting their car. And bring me some Flonase samples while your at it.
Congrats on the new aquisition.
We need to get together for lunch when I get my car running. I'm up in your area(Anderson, actually) often, when I'm at the lake.

Congrats. Looks like you saved 5 grand off the one that sold on 2-17-03 for 30k. Are they the same, or did the other one come with more parts?

Good for you Chuck,
You got a heck of a deal. This will be the perfect after hours therapy. Now if we can just find a proper CPT code.....

Chuck,
I found the appropriate codes which may be applicable. Please read the code definitions on 99002 (with references to "shop") and 97532. With the Medicare revisions, you'll probably only receive .23 on each dollar but what the heck! Remember to use the appropriate "Modifier". Now if you had a "REAL" cobra you could use 99332

Will need the codes for:
1. cervical whiplash.
2. 3rd degree burns of the Achilles tendons.
3. Left eye chalasion.
4. hearing loss.
5. narsassistic personality disorder.
6. possible STD from hot 20 year olds, looking to hook a doc with a big Cobra.

"Physicion, heel thyself " I have the "heel" covered guys!
I think that we should form "a group", refer group patients to each other and form a LLC!

Jim,
Thanks for the kind words. When you are ready for the upgrade, just let me know. I really think you will like the new brakes. They really are working fine right now...just ask Jamo--as he was looking over the edge of the cliff with no guardrail. I hope he cleaned out that passenger seat.

Them brakes leave some nice skid marks up there on the mountain?
....or maybe that was Jamo's job.....

Chuck,
Congratulations!!, Finally a Kirkham in upstate SC. The only bad thing is it weakens my argument to get David to have a demo car (in my garage of course) to better represent Kirkham in SC.
I am very envious. I can't wait to see it!!
Regards,
Keith

David:
You are most welcome. I will be pulling the suspension in a week or so. Recent heavy travel schedule has been a real bear. Also, thanks for all of the technical advice over the past several weeks...very much appreciated.
Kathy says hello, also. Take care!

I am not sure how I am going to approach the build yet.My Hunter is close to finished and I want to enjoy it so I will probably take my time with the Kirkham and do some of the work that is usually done by the factory. The build part has been so much fun that I want to continue that but I do want this one to be faithful to the original.I am also considering building my own 427;I know that might not seem the smartest thing, however as I said building has been fun and I have learned a lot from the first engine. chuck
