CSX4264-For Sale???
I am considering on selling CSX4264 in hopes to join those in the All Aluminum club. So, if you see my car on ebay I am not pushing to sell it there but only to see if any car collectors follow-up. That was how a friend sold his Shelby. I don't know what price I will sell it for but it will most likey end up 90s.

Shannon,
Since you are in California already, could you tell me what your car is registered as ? It is a beauty and I have been trying to figure out how to go about registering a real CSX 4xxx in this state. If anyone in this state buys it, what kind of hurdles would we run into so far as transferring thtles and etc ?
Thanks,
Ron

Shannon--
Why don't ya just buy one of the Kirkham bodies and put it on??
You've built that bad boy--got the CSX number--just add aluminum

Allan,
Thanks and you are correct. I did use SB100 and it was a smooth process.
Ron61- If a Californian buys this car it would be like buying a old Mustang. It is registered as a SPCNS. All it would take is: Bill of sale,Release of liabilty,Transfer of Title. It should not be a big issue.
Mark- Get out of my head!!!
You found plan B.
I do have the skills and equipment to make that change. It might be a winter time project. Thanks
Shannon

Shannon,
My two cents worth. I would somewhat nix the plan "B".
Your car is probably in the registry as glass car, and any serious modifications to it may complicate matters down the road.
"Was it wrecked, and that is why it got a new skin?"
"It says it is glass in the book"
and many other questions may come to play at the expense of your car.
Plan "A" is better, IMHO. Sell the car for what it is, a Real Shelby Cobra, and turn around and buy a Shelby or a Kirkham alloy car.
I believe you would be better of.
