Talking I Just Got 200 Raffle Tickets For Dvsf

My chances of winning are now phenomenal!!!

However, on second thought, it would be a better idea to spread out the chance to win that beautiful Kirkham 289 at DVSF III.

Here's the plan... we have over 20 Regional Cobra Clubs and organizations participating on Club Cobra.

I would ask each of the clubs to "elect" a representative and contact me. I will send out a book of ten (10) tickets for your group to sell during the month of May. (..clean 'em out earlier and I'll send you more, if you like).

Sell them within your club, at swap meets or cruise nights, at work, at Speed Shops... wherever you think someone would have interest. We need to act fast and get these tickets out there!

Remember ... you do not have to be at DVSF to win.

Reply by post or e-mail if you have any questions.

If no one replies..... "I'm a gonna win that pup!"

Now wait a minute Ron... didn't you say that you picked up the tickets at Kinkos for $0.05 each?

CW, not sure what DSCC's plans are, but I will await the leadership's input. If we do not hear anything within a week, I will step up and take ownership for our allotment of what I ASSume are 10 tickets (hope you bought the "lucky" numbers!).

Hey Ron,

Just got home from our club planning meeting.
http://www.midamericacobra.org/
Need you to send me some tickets. We should be good for at least 20. You can call me at home tonight, or tomorrow anytime.
Our Monthly meeting is this Sat. Would be good to have them by then for some heavy duty arm twisting.

Ron, (Computerworks)

Could somebody but together a flyer with pictures of the car and a components list, maybe an appraisal value and/or Kirkham info and post it here or on the DVSF site? It should probably list the dvsf site address/email info.

Another question I've been asked is; "will there be a limit to the number of tickets sold?"

I think it would help sell tickets at car shows and stuff if you can actually hand something to somebody... or drop a copy in their car.

Just a thought, (btw - will be registering and buying my ticket(s) as soon as my tax return gets back).

Thanks,

Dan Stryffeler

Dan...

Right now, there are 2 PDFs available for download and printing.

This one is a quick flyer

This one is an event flyer

You are right, though, that we should have an updated spec sheet on the car, with all the added parts that have been donated.

XLR8OR???

Total number of tickets to be sold? That's a question for Ed.

Ron,

Thanks for the info! might just play around with this later today and see what I can cut/paste together. I think the info on the quick flyer might be a little too light to convince someone not familiar with the DVSF to pony up $50.

Thanks again,

- Dan

Oh what a conundrum; on one hand I want to see lots of tickets sold for the cause, on the other I want the only ones sold to be the ones I'll be holding when the number is drawn!
While you're selling tickets also recruit pledges for the Drive-A-thon. What is the Drive-A-Thon you ask? Go here driveathon thread .
Let's make some money for Team Jenny,
Jeff

Do you have your DVSF Drive-A-Thon pledges yet?

Default The winning ticket!

I would love to win that car! Preparing acceptance speach this evening!

I am sure you can pull more info from Kirkhams site if you want to make up a new flyer.

A note on the flyers. Print them! Copy them. It is suprising the number of local businesses that will display them and pass them out. I just set them on the counter and people pick them up. If my company only knew how many I have printed! And I need to print some more.

You have reminded me that I need to update the sponsor section on the event flyer.

Rick

Ron,

Should someone come up with more banners or flyers or advertising of one sort or another, let me know.
Thanks

Ticket sales will be unlimited! Limited only to the three that I have purchased

As much as I would like to say 500 tickets, it aint gonna happen. The Kirkhams donated this from their hearts to raise money for Jenny. We've got to raise as much money as we can.

A new list of the motor parts are forthcoming! Signed on a really neat sponsor yesterday that everyone will recognize! He simply said this car desereved to have the best parts!
