Thomas' Car Goes Up in Flames!!!
This is what happens when Thomas takes too long of a lunch...
I have to admit...I didn't know what to think. I actually like them the more I look at them. You should have seen Thomas' face when he returned!

Wow!
That is so cool!
David, Thomas, et.al., thank you so much for helping Robby's crew today. When he told me he was going to Provo day before yesterday I couldn't believe it. I asked him, "do you have any idea what's in Provo?". He simply looked at me like I was nuts and asked what. I said the KIRKHAMS, the family that made Jenny's Cobra!
Of course he asked if I thought you guys would mind if he and the rest of his OSU group stopped in if they had time. I simply told him the Kirkham family already put up with the "Gasholes", certainly some kids from OSU wouldn't bother them!
Thanks David and crew. Some day I hope Mrs. DV and I get to make the trip!

DV,
The seat belts were no big deal...I just hope BYU doesn't find out we were aiding the "enemy."
(We have donated in the past to he BYU Mini Baja team and I don't think we would ever live it down.)
Pat,
Sorry to beat you to it. Thomas actually likes it. Maybe I'll do mine too.

Great look! Can you buff or sand it out if you want to change it?

Thanks for your business card. We put in the flames in a couple of hours. It is very easy to erase and to change whenever you want...I love aluminum!

Those flames on an aluminum body are just so right.

I believe one of the original comp cars had flames like that after being passed by a Grand Sport Corvette

I was talking to Tom earlier today as he was making final plans for the long haul to Willow Springs...where the flame job will be making its first appearence.
Very cool. Reminds me of the first Cobra that Shelby supposedly repainted in different colors so the press thought there were several of them. We can have a different Cobra every week.
Davey--you guys are having way too much fun. When ya going to get real jobs?

David,
I was going to bring my car in to you for some tuning up, but now I am scared to!!
I am thinking I am the only one who thinks the flames do not belong on a Cobra. I say keep them in the engine compartment like I did!

That is too cool. I was wondering how I was going to put ghost flames on an aluminum car, now I know. It looks good as well. My first Cobra had flames and I like the way they look.
Talk to you soon.

I'll take the same position as David. I don't know what to think. On one hand it does look really cool but on the other hand it may put a little too much "cheese" on the plate.

Title of the thread scared me half to death....
Very, VERY nice. That Thomas....he's so rad!!!
I'll be pulling 142's suspension off in a few days, now that I have a little time off. Keep your eyes peeled for four well packed boxes, and thanks for your help on the upgrade.

David,
Real sweet flames, I already have very subtil black ghostflames with frost white tips, can't see them in the shade only in the sun. The response from people who suddenly see them is great.
Keep the flames.........when I win the cobra I'll have a matching pair!
Perry.

Well 3 days of business travel and I arrive at ClubCobra to close my Friday. I will not refer to the other threads I have already read, other than "driver training saves lives" ( ) . What I will say is, I never thought I would see the ULTIMATE subtle flame treatment. I have now seen it. I have only had about 2 minutes to "adjust" to it, but it is most tasteful and nice. I may be with Turk on this one, but it is so subtle, it is not offensive.
