Indeed this is strange - and a lot of bidders too - just goes to show you - some people have no clue as to the value of anything. Interesting to note - this shows up under "AC Cobra's" and not "Shelby Cobras"...

Either there's something fishy going on, or the high bidder has more money than brains!

Is it not possible for the owner, or say a friend bid up the price of the car? Gonna have to double -"Double Venom's prices if this is real!

yes - eBay has had numerous reported cases of bidders rigging prices by having a friend bid up a price - highly illegal of course, but in this case their appears to be over 10 indivdual bidders which would be very hard to pull off...not to mention the seller will owe ebay large for the fees

If that car is worth $50K, the Kirkhams should be able to sell their cars all day long at $250K.

Wonder whether Supersnake thinks the buyer of that car qualifies as a pigeon?
Boy, I'd love to see the look on the buyers face when he finally figures out the REAL value of this car!
This must mean that the value of my car increased over 5x's.

Worth it!!
It probably is worth the price since it has an "original" COBRA radio in the dash.
Just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of 3 included in the bidding. Or would that be 5 (Factory that is)?

I really didn't purchase mine as a hedge...
Wonder if this being at a dealer is coincidental to the price?

I cannot believe what we are looking at?
A nice Cobra yes, but way past what I believe should be selling for around $25-30K. Are we all missing something?

Prime example of Shill bidding. Wake up folks, the "K" car on there a few weeks ago didn't even get 1 bid.

Any vehicle be it a Cobra to a Yugo or anything else for that matter is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it on a given day. NADA or "blue book" values are only a guide, and that changes from region to region. With that said I think this is a very nice FFR,but I personally would not give 70k for it..... Maybe the market is starting to rise again, maybe just a fluke,or maybe just someone with too much money, either way I'm sure the seller is realllllll happy right now, assuming the sale does go thru and it is not someone just bidding to be bidding and will back out when all is said and done.

Seller will make the shipping arrangements... The buyer will pay all shipping charges... (That's getting it twice for the same money)
Is that an original FFR????
So much for "you can't cheat an honest man"
I was going to drive the Cobra to the DVSF in June but I'm not sure I want to take my "million dollar" car on the road.

David....
I'm going to go with the "fluke" and "maybe just someone with too much money" theory on this one...
The seller is placing another order right now for a $12K FFR kit as we speak...
