Lots of people have talked about Zaino Bro's finishes, which I have not tried yet. Last weekend I bought some Zymol and it's the best I have used to date. I used Mguires Gold and thought that was pretty good, but the Zymol is far and away better...Brilliant shine.

ProtectAll. It is easy to apply and remove. Made for RV use, it's great for removing bugs and general road grime. Particularly good on those plexiglass wings and visors. I found mine at WalMart. Other than that, I just use Ivory liquid for washing, if it's ever required. The main thing I've found wax good for is it makes bugs easier to remove.

For aluminum, chrome and the stainless headers, I use 200mph polish . . . also easy to apply and remove.

Thumbs up Zaino The One and ONLY!!

The only product I've bought in 53 years that met or exceeded my expectations. Period. Zaino's.

With a Sh*&#y paint job, I won best paint in a show. Ask the paint pros like Bob Parmenter at NWCC.. he's seen my scam 1st hand.. (and it embarresed him as much as it did me).

Zaino's is the best... but you need to be prepared to follow the program. I now have about 60 coats.... and it hides my serious clear coat flaws.... SHHHH! Its beyond routine. Its off the hook.

Pleased to report.. its the best by far. But don't take myword for it, see this study too...

Repsectfully,

Zderf

Check out carcareonline.com. They independently test all of the products out there. They recommend different polishes and waxes for different kinds of paint. They also test all sorts of other products like leather treatments and rubber treatments. I have no affiliation. I am just a satisfied and very picky customer.

Default Zaino

After reading and been informed by many about Zaino, I purchased the product , have not yet applied. However, it is really stressed that to obtain the maximum results, must follow the entire procedure which includes multiple different Zaino products.

Always mentioned is the use of Dawn dishwashing detergent to remove the waxes previously applied and the Zaino Clay Bar depending upon the condition of the paint surface.

One of the distributors brochures mentions Guru Reports, which I never heard of, to quote " In a 2002 independent test by Guru Reports, Zaino beat all 45 other waxes and polishes tested as the #1 polish product available.

Web site to obtain, at a cost, the Guru Reports on the Wax Test:

I found Mother's clear wax to be the best BUT after some time I became a bit disapointed in the shine. Then, after some minor body work my paint shop handed me my car looking like the day I brought it home almost 4 yrs ago !
The secret....no wax...just glaze....
3m Glaze. No...it does not last long but it is so easy to apply you could do it almost every week in 15 minutes tops. And..never a build up ! I am now a convert..... no more waxing !

I have had excellent results using Zaino. It is quite a time consuming process, but if you follow the program and do it over a weekend the results are spectacular. The cobra is a small enough car that it is not that bad to do. I gave up at the front fenders and hood of our suburban!
