Cobra Tire question -
I bought a set of Cobra tires from Shelby this week and have a question regarding the logo 'painted' on the side. I knew that they were extremely crude in their application, but one was so damaged I stripped it hoping to re-paint it myself. Big mistake. Brush or q-tip paint application was useless.
I fear that the only way to re-paint the logo will be to cut a stencil and spray it - a daunting task on a curved surface. Luckily, the logo is painted on both sides, so I suppose I could have it re-mounted with the remaining 'artwork' facing out.
Any shared experiences and potential solutions would be appreciated.
I knew I was going to sacrifice a lot for a correct 'look' - but the brick hard bias ply ride and the laughable logo application has me wondering if I've made a horrible mistake.
Thanks in advance.
