For long term planners..SAAC-29 and 30
For the long-term planners, Rick Kopec announced yesterday that next year's SAAC-29 will be held in Michigan.
...and the following year (SAAC-30)... it's back to Fontana CA at the California Motorspeedway.

Funny, I heard SAAC 29 was supposed to be at "The Glen"...........Guess I'll have to make a call to Rick next week after he recuperates from SAAC 28................

Heard the same thing from Rick at SAAC 28,my buddies are already making plans to attend and want me to go,a little bit of a stretch for me,kinda half way across the country, but who knows come next year???? Maybe I'll be rich and famous by then, but would settle for just rich.....
Did get to meet Rick and talk to him in the garage area,we talked about the "Cannon Ball Run" he was in,he had some "interesting" things to say about it.....I asked him if he still had the policeman's badge that was loaned to him that got him in a little bit of hot water then,he said the arresting officer kept it.....

Would SAAC29 be at Michigan International Speedway? If so, I will be there next year for sure!

INTERESTING NOTE ON RICH KOPEC. HE WROTE A GREAT ARTICLE ON HIS "PARTICIPATION" ON A BORROWED GT350 FOR THE CANNONBALL RUN. IT'S IN ONE OF THE OLD SHELBY MARQUES. IF I FIND THE ARTICLE ILL POST THE ISSUE.
