Keith,

The car tested was one of the couple/few pre-production ones used to stave off the fires from the investors/people who left deposits.

Ikestaa,

Production is not under way and has not been underway for any amount of time. Sadly.

Bandit1,

Shelby has manufacturer loyalty. He has ties to Ford, Chrysler, *and* GM. Just read some of the news stories and look between the lines. Having loyalty doesn't mean he needs to extend the middle finger to General Motors over our beloved Ford. One needs to stop and think about why he would choose that Aurora.

Mr. Bubb Rubb:

If Mr. Shelby thought that someone wanted to brag about there Aurora engine, then I think it is time for him to retire. There is brand loyalty, ask the idiots at the IRL that can't figure out why the IRL sucks and Nascar is so popular. DUH, it's the Ford -VS- Chevrolet -VS- Dodge -VS- Pontiac thing. I guess it is to complicated for the IRL (and Shelby) to figure out.

I am so dedicated to Ford, that Mickey Mouse could be driving a Ford powered car and I would want him to win...

I think the BIG reason NASCAR is popular is the competition is very close. ANYBODY can win on any given day.

Before IRL, when it was CART, you KNEW who was going to win, a Penske car, end of story. In F1 right now, you KNOW who is going to win.

IRL is doing WAY better than CART (which may fold). Sadly. Penske may be back full time in the IRL. If the rules don't compensate, he will so totally dominate, it will destroy IRL.

You MUST have some form of "real" competition. Ford vs Chevy is a classic, but the teams themselves are also a big part of the picture.

By the way, WHO are the drivers in IRL these days? LOL, so many knew young faces out there.

Ernie
