Little jealous people...
With no MOJO are the culprits. Can you imagine actually having to BE them? It's enough punishment !

Boys thanks for the support and suggestions.I like the parking lot therapy angle very much.
Long Island crew.I think we are very close to losing Sears so one last Hurrah is inorder. The seven day forcast looks promising. If enough of us get there early we can have our usual row.Lets give the Vettes fits one more time.
Can anyone be there by Four P.M?

Why so much print wasted on this J*** Off. For every one of their type, there must a hundred , maybe thousands who are thrilled just to have had a chance to be in the presense of your beast. Their appreciation is genuine and their joy authentic. Let's not loose loose sight of why we take our cars out and show them, Not to gloat, but simply to SHARE with those a little fortunate.
PS He'd would have found something wrong with it, even if were an original and your name was Carroll Shelby.

Hell, for the one jerkoff who has to make himself seem important to those around him, I meet dozens who are just great to talk to. I let'em sit in the car...make roooommmm rooooommmmm noises while they are acting like they are driving. Some I have taken for a spin around the block and made their life!!
Isn't it grand?

just remember
if someone cuts on you or your nice Cobra, it's probably because they need to in order to feel good about themself. When they do, Ya just have to throw them a curve ball, laugh, and say "Hey, how's it goin!" and watch them clam up not knowing what to say after just cutting on your car. When they see you are happy, and they know they are not, it really gets to them... just watch their expression as they walk away quitely with their head down.
It's easy to get to the Morons out there when you respond with something they wouldn't normally expect. Psych!

I was at a car show last Sunday, my first with the Cobra, and had nothing but positive comments! Of course, I was asked if it was real, not an unreasonable question, and when I said no, it was a kitcar, the next response was on the order of "wow, it looks really great!" I was lucky that I encountered no a**holes and won a trophy to boot! Now, if parents would only teach their kiids not to touch.....

Long Island Cobras.......If Sears goes down head out to Bald Hill.
Last Tuesday night's announcement was they were the largest weekly car show gathering in the country. They may be right.
2000 cars passed through their gates last Tuesday night between 6pm-10pm. It is one huge event.....every Tuesday.

2000 cars at 4.00 each. That should cover the costs don't cha think?
It didn't seem like that many cars. Their was a ton of bikes through.
I will plan on Sears for this week.

Hey...
Hi Turk,
can't say I've met Evan in person.
BTW: On another note, ... man, I noticed that just about every dork that walked up to your car at the Cameron Park show last weekend just had to knock on it to see what the aluminum sounds like.
We need to make a sticker for your fenders that says "Yes it's aluminum - and if you knock on my fender...me and 5 of my friends get to knock on your fricken head - really hard!".
See Ya.

I drove my car to a nearby small town show to spend a wonderful, sunny day and talk to car people and make a few friends. Every once in a while you meet someone who causes an adrenaline rush and thoughts of "if I kill him in front of less than a dozen witnesses would they tell on me?" A mindless woman with some kids in tow walked by my car with a funnel cake on a paper plate; you know, one of those grease soaked pastries covered with powdered sugar. She fumbled the thing right as she was passing my car and the sugar went all over the trunk and side of my freshly waxed finish. She kept walking without so much as an excuseme, oops or anything else. I was torn between choosing wiping my car off or wiping her off the earth as a good use for the next 30 seconds. About five minutes later a mom and her precious litle girl walked up. The sweet little thing put her hands on the car to steady herself so she could put her foot up on my spotless side exhaust. Before I could get my hands around her neck or get the rage out of my throat that was blocking me from speaking, they quickly moved on, probably motivated by self preservation. Some peoples children.....
There are lots of people out there who have no idea how much effort is put into our hobby, much less how much money, and don't care ether. You just have to accept them for the idiots they are and keep them out of your dreams.

Disrespect is universal today
I have to watch my car when I go out to shoot pool or whatever. I have several pool halls here that offer a nice view and I can usually take the right spot within a few minutes of arriving. Yes, there are those with no respect.. but the good and respectful folks that LOVE these cars make it all worthwhile... it's great fun actually, overall. Just don't let the "genetic failures" get to you.

BCompy ,
Pack him up and ship him down here to Texas. We have special ways of dealing with trouble makers...
And by the way, why do they use an alcohol swab before sticking the needle into satan's little pukes?
