I have always had very fast cars, and I have found one thing that works without fault. I tell them very simply....I'll race you, but only if you we put up $1,000.00 each on the outcome. I have only had one taker...and he is one grand lighter for the experience.

I don't know how some of you guys say you are talking to the people in the other cars and they are actually hearing you.

If one of these people truly becomes annoying, I generally just point my finger at them and start laughing.

Talking There is always someone louder

Hal,

You did not listen to Spira's BB at the SSR-II then.

It HAS to be the loudest SPF I have heard.

Reminds me of a funny story around 1977.

I had a hot looking '65 Corvette, lowered, sidepipes, L-88 hood, 370hp LT-1 motor, Can-Am fender flares. One evening, very light traffic, I pull up to this intersection in the left lane, and some guy in a GTO pulls next to me on my right. He starts revving up his motor a few times, and I do the same. By now, I can see the cross traffic light going to yellow, so I bring my revs to a steady 3000rpm, by now this guy is going nuts waiting for the light to change. When the light turns green, and for about a quick second, I opened the Holley up, that kid next to me just punches it and burns rubber and fishtailes his Goat through that intersection for 150 feet. Unbeknownst to the kid, I was just making a left hand turn. I wonder how far he went before he realized I wasn't even in the left lane !!

Don't get me wrong I don't hate kids or tree huggers. In fact tree huggers make wonderful pets!
