Default Contemporary Classic Chassis number

I own a Contemporary Classic 427SC, chassis number CCX 33239.
Iwould like to find the build date of the car. I know that the car was built by Don Borders in San Marcos, CA. I have tried to locate him and his company, but to no avail. I have read in some threads here that a Bill Connelly with Upstate Replicars might be able to help, but I don't know how to contact him.

I would also like to find a source of info on the Classic cars and components that they used. I understand that CC is no longer in business. I believe this was an early car (despite having only 3100 miles) because of the torsion bar front suspension.

I would appreciate any help I can get. You can contact me either thru here or at mcfarlr@aol.com

Bob

Bob,

You can find Don Borders at "Image auto works" in southern california.

Torsion bar suspension does not by itself make it an early car.

there is a thread here somewhere that many of us Contemporary owners logged in our ccx #'s ,judgeing by your # late 80's early 90's

Good luck , you have a great car

KK
