Selling Cars on Ebay
Was wondering what the experiences have been for people who have sold cars on eBay?
I am thinging about selling my P/U Truck on eBay but have some reservations. Not sure what the reservations are, other than I really don't want to sell the truck.
Please provide some experiences.
Thanks
Jamie

I think a good Idea is to put your reserve higher than you actually want to sell it for the first time around. My hope was that I would find a local buyer who would pay near what I wanted for my car & I wouldn't have to deal with doing it through ebay. In the end that is what happened. I actually had an offer from another state but was a little nervous about the transaction & went with the local guy. Much easier... Much safer... Less stressfull!!!!!

Jamie,
I've moved several vehicles, parts and accessories via ebay without problems. If you encounter questions or problems, drop me a note and I'll be glad to help.

I just bought a car off of ebay and learned one thing from it.
Do not sell a car on a holiday weekend. I bought mine the day after memorial day. Since it was a big holiday weekend, nobody was able to look at the car. I ended up getting it really cheap.

Thanks for the information. Dan I will be sure to drop you a line.
I looked in eBay to see how many of my vehicle were selling. Not many, but those that were there seemed to be selling at prices lower than expected. It might just be that it is hard to sell my baby.
The baby being a Dodge Ram pickup that will go through about anything --- not that I have tried.
