Amen! Thanks, DV!!!
Yeah: it is pretty warm after 7 hours on the road and I'm pretty certain I didn't win the car, unless they're waiting to name the winner pending notification of next of kin.

DV,
Thanks so much to you and your entire crew for putting on an incredible event!! My wife and I had adventures we will talk about for a long time to come. 8 hours drive out, 6 1/2 of which were in the pouring rain with my car in an OPEN trailer....getting lost on the way home from Saturdays' event....getting to meet so many people. We had a great time! Thank you.
So has the countdown clock started for next years event?
Steve

DV,
A pleasure meeting you and the family. Same goes for the event.....Just sorry you had to read the wrong name off the winning raffle ticket. I was truly looking forward to taking that 289FIA car home with me..............Oh well, perhaps next year........................
Bill S.
PS: Wonder if the Kirkhams will do a Slab side next????

Thanks DV, Mrs. DV, and younger DV's
You did it again! What a fantastic event - and it keeps getting better and better!
You guys are the BEST! Take a hard-earned rest - there wasn't a moment last week-end that you guys weren't working your tails off. Your efforts certainly paid off - it seemed as each facet of the event was fine-tuned to be a little bit better than it was in previous years. Your hard work and tireless efforts I'm sure will be reflected in a substantial contribution to CF in the name of Team Jenny.
We were dissappointed that little Jennny was unable to make the event, and pray that she will regain her strength, and be there with us next year to "lead the parade of race cars".
On a much lighter note, there certainly was a crew of "the Usual Suspects" there - Blackjack, Jamo, Wilf, Hersh, the Drs. Semko, and of course, the one and only (thank Goodness) Turk, himself. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones.
We pray that Jenny is feeling much better soon, and applaud you and your family for the great work you have done.
Best Regards,
Jeff Burgy and Claudia Weiss

I am in complete agreement. Ed-you keep improving this thing, year by year. Even my wife is beginning to enjoy it. As for me, that was the most enjoyable weekend I've spent in a long time. The fellowship and information exchange was very enjoyable and educational. The quality of the vehicles present was better than ever. The Rip Chords were good (and they seemed to enjoy themselves.) I even took my low-budget snake out for a half dozen trips through Sunday's autocross course. (Gobs of fun!) This is my 3rd Fling and it was as much fun as the first 2 combined. Good friends, good times, a good cause (CF). It just doesn't get any better. I can't wait until DVSF4... Thanks again, Ed and everyone who made this possible.

DV, Thanks.
Thanks, Great Job. I could only attend again on Saturday. London was great and the QS&L was great as well. Thought I'd attach this image of "the Man Himself, Directing!"

DVSFIII has been a assolutely marvelous time and the highlight clearly has been meeting folks like: DV himself, Wayne Turpin, Brent Mills (ClubCobra Sysop), Tom Kirkham (Kirkham) , Bob Marsh (Shelby), BLACKJACK (again!!), all the Texas boys, Flyin' Freddie (hope that tranny gives you 200K miles of joy) and Ron Frohs (TN SPF owners--Small block cars you do NOT want to mess with) , RT and some of the other the SCOF boys, the folks who stopped when I ran out of gas (run out of gas--what a Gashole thing to do)!!.
Oh yeah, I met some Gasholes in person, and they were very disappointing. They were some of the nicest, at same time rudest , disrupting, honorable, most chivalrous, scandalous, very respectable, modest, horniest, giving, OUTGOING, hungriest, thirstiest bunch I have seen They even posed for pictures
I realize again, (IT HAS BEEN A LONG DAY as I write this, I was actually talking to TURK at 2:30AM today at the Cross Country Inn in Columbus--) !!!
On our belated way to the Madison airport for day 3 events of DVSF after I get "NO SLEEP", Wife asks "Do we have enough gas?", after noting gas guage needle (funny how wives always look at straight pointy thingies and fuel guages). It was on empty, where it usually is at for the bottom half of the tank so you know I am not worried .
Gashole answer, "Sure, don't worry about it , plenty of gas, just a lousy guage. Was gonna fix it, but I would rather you have a new dress . " 3 minutes and 30 seconds later, car comes to dead coasted stop. No bucking, no sputtering. Some gas vapor smell. Gas VAPORS A new Weber experience!! Life is grand!!
Anyway, some terrific FFR guys came to my rescue and all was well (THANK YOU if you are reading this). I have many "takeaways from this weekend", but as I told TURK, it is so great to see all of us in the same parking lot, admiring all of each others cars regardless of make, and when in person we do not bicker like we do on online!
And my point is, I have no point. Only the experience of this wonderful event and getting to meet the folks that are on this site. As well as the great feeling we all get from the charity side of this event. Great job DV.

Enjoyed myself as well! Had a great time. Hope to have a vehicle to bring my Cobra out next year. Good to meet Casaleenie and G.R. and Turk. Hope to meet more next year. Keep up the good work!
