Talking I have a cobra in my garage

Well, while most of you guys were drinking and carrying on at DVSF this weekend, I was having my own cobra party of sorts this weekend. The good people of Intercity Lines were kind enough to deliver my ERA last Saturday. It was like Christmas in June. Here is a pic of Santa, his sleigh and my present.

Are you sure you got the car?
Maybe a little delusional. ERA will do that to ya!

One more try. Forget it, I guess you guys will just have to believe me.

Turk- I think it's real. I've spent hours in the garage since saturday just staring at it, so I hope it's real. BTW, what'd you do with the cobra? Can't believe for one second that you'd trade in the cobra for a porsche. If it were Evan, I might believe it, but not you

Thanks guys for the kind words. I just came in from the garage (where I've been every free moment since it arrived). If all goes well, we may be hearing the sound of the motor before the weekend is out

I'll try to take some better pics- it was pooring the day it came home so I couldn't take any outside.

Coosaw- The motor is a 428 courtesy of southern automotive. If it runs as good as it looks I'll be more than happy.

KK-
You are correct, I am very lucky. And if I do have to fight it, I'm just glad to be able to have the fight.

Evan-
If you're around this weekend you should stop by and check it out. Who knows, the weather may even be nice enough to bring Rosemary's baby. What are the chances of a weekend without rain

Do you have the color code, name? My car is similar to that but the color appears blue-ish in all pictures no matter if they are taken indoor, outdoor, digital, film, whatever.

The car looks great. Just wait till you fire her up for the first time, you will smile for hours afterwards.

Update-
As of last night, the engine and trans. are in. Motor went in without a problem, but the tranny needed a little extra "motivation". But they are in

Dane-
I'm only 15 minutes from Morristown and go there all the time. Good to have another local Cobra owner. I need someone to show me all the fun back roads.

Evan-
So far so good with the weather, although I still don't believe we can have a weekend without rain.

Wayne-
It really is a neat color. Depending on the light, it almost looks black. In direct sun (which I've only seen it in once for a few minutes) it has a very slight gold metallic sparkle. The color is Dark Bowling Green Metallic from 2001 Corvette. I have the paint code at home, let me know if you want it and I can dig it out for you.
