adding avaters

hello one and all, forgive my puter ignorance but i cannot figure out how to add an avater to your name.
I want to cut the pic of my dune buggy (in my gallery) down to the correct size and use it, but no matter what i try i cant figure it out, please help

Lets see. Make sure you get the pic that you want to use to the right size first. Upload to www.imagestation.com ..right click picture on imagastation..go to properties..hilight the address of the picture..right click the hilight..copy the hilight..move to this site..go to preferences..find "change avatar"towards the bottom..where it asks for you to put the address, right click there..paste..click done, continue, or next
