Thanks for all your suggestions on a digital camera, I went out and grabbed one today, a Sony VX DSC-V1. Hopefully I'll have some better pics up tonight.

thats not the mavica is it?? the one with the CD instead of the smart card... If so return it and run. Olympus minolta or Nikon

Spoony,

I figured out how to get the leaves to look right with my Olympus C-4000. It is a 4 megapixel and I just take one close up leaf at a time and them put them together in a picture. Really surprised my friends when they spotted four different kinds of leaves on the same tree limb.
