3 star rating??? What the @#$%!!!!
Someone gave my Brand new SPF 1618 a three star rating....You have to be kidding me!! Must be a SPF hater!! Of course I think my car is the "Cats Ash" but someone take a look for themself and tell me I'm not crazy here!! Keep in mind I do have some chrome 17" Team III wheels on the way.

Maybe they are just rating the quality of the photo not the car in it. The picture lacks clarity and definition. I give it 2 stars.

the car looks great,Spoony!5 stars in my book-hope to have one just like it real soon.As to fuzzy pictures,I assumed it was because you were extremely excited about owning such a fine machine,or it was due to the rhythmic vibes from 500+ponies gittin'ready to run!

yep, i agree...the car is FINE, but the photos SUCK ! a five for the car, a zero for the pics..averages out to 2.5, round up to 3..hence someone's rationale for the 3 star rating !! LOL...now, get a decent camera and start over...or , say screw it and just go DRIVE that sucker !!! Bill.

Spoony,
I am not the photo expert by far on the club,( Computerworks is ), but I looked at your photos and all are in the 3,000-4,000 byte range. You can post up to 30K in your gallery but around 70K seems to work best. You are posting around 3K and that reduces the size so much that you are losing a lot of definition. Try posting one at around the 70K range and see if that doesn't look better. By the way, that is a very nice car even though the pictures don't do it justice.

Spoony,
If you are worrying what everyone else is thinking. You got the car for the wrong reason. Just go enjoy it.

Don't feel Bad
Hey Spoony,
These guys are tough; you need to thicken up the old skin to deflect any unwanted comments. Nobody here really wants to hurt anyone's feelings. It's all in how you receive what is written here.
I have 4 pages in my gallery and only 1 received a rating (I think they liked the engine). I consider myself lucky that someone actually took the time to rate it.
The good that came out of this thread is that you may have learned you may be using the wrong equipment for good quality photos, or as stated, the settings may be wrong. Keep trying and posting, you can always delete the old unwanted ones.

Spooney,
Since your sucks so bad you are obviously in no condition to live with its suckiness.
Please have it shipped to me for a while, at least until the suckiness of it all leaves you behind.
I promise to drive it until it just REALLY sucks.
Great looking car -- have fun and rate it the way you like it rated.
oh --- and get a better camera next time.

Spoony,
I think the current Minolta D7Hi is the most bang for the buck. If that's overkill, check out the Nikon or minolta 2.1 to 3.2 megapixel cameras.
Read the reviews at www.dpreview.com
You'll probably wanr a program like Photoshop to edit your photos. Besides adjusting color, brightness, etc. You'll be able to resize the pixel dimensions and file sizes.

Actually I love the comments, I'm having a few laughs reading them. I love the back and forth banter, I find myself rushing back to the computer to read the next one. Keep them coming...skin thickness is not an issue.
And Roscoe, I've just picked up a few more bumper stickers. I'll send them to you, I don't think every inch of your car is covered yet!
