Long Island NY Track Run
We were supposedly waiting until fall but, the question being frequently raised is " When are we going back to the track!".
Compy ( most of the problem) is all tuned up ...New Splitfires. We know he's found power is NOS tuned and looking for trouble . 401K is cocked and loaded. Vito's 427 wants to sticky burn and launch his new DR's. Joe Jones' 428 is now ready. Don's screaming SB is always ready. Marty's smarter than all of us. Lou promises to keep his foot in his 351W......no matter what. Rando ..can just pick a Cobra for the day...Dan will go if we make turns...Steve Blum's SPF is too damn pretty....he has to run. Eddy's 460 Stall AT needs a place to strut.....JMartin's new 427 sounds like it could change weather patterns ....Teddy's 408 Dart motor has steroids written all over it........... Andrew, Still The Man, sounds and runs like an F-16.
Should we try setting a date ?
How is Saturday July 19 ?

you guys read my mind about having an event. i had hoped to do a cruise and then a feast at the snakepit. however if this is what the masses desire than i am in. i can even sleep late since the track doesnt really start running till 12:30ish. you guys know how much i enjoy my sleep.
now somebody stop that damn yellow cobra before he torches his block.

Hey Guys:
Next time you plan an event try to have it on a weekend when Skip Barber isn't racing. Once again I'll be at Lime Rock while you guys are at the track.

The only way I'll soil myself with you driving is if you won't pull over. I am getting old.
A little tip Dan, it's the loud pedal on the right that makes it go!

OK ,Ok choke is a little harsh. Just wanted to see if your breathing. No insult intended (MUCH) .
I agree if it's over 80 degrees you should take the other car. Because at 81 your bucket spills it's guts on the line and WE HAVE THE VIDEO TAPE TO PROVE IT !
NANANANANAAAAA
AND YOU KNOW WHAT! YOUR CXS ANTIFREEZE IS GREEN THE SAME AS MINE!.

PICKY, PICKY ,PICKY
Went to new location in Nassau.Got thrown out of there already. Think I am going to have cruise night in my garage soon.
To get to Bald hill I have to be on the road by four. Not an easy task when the boss watches the door and has a gun.
Spread the word on the east end for the track. And you don't have to pull a plug wire to race me. I talked to God and he is on my side !

I think I'll join you guys for the day at westhampton (july 19th) and if the weather holds, I am joining Roger Davis at watkins glen with the rest of the club cranky clan, anyone interested in joining for the 21-22 at the glen? I may leave from connecticut early sunday morning but am going to wait until I'm sure to encounter good weather for monday/tuesday time frame. I don't want to be in a river race 5 hours from home! Bill, I too want a piece of Mr. Vito! see you all next weekend.

BCompy thanks for the secret handshake... You are right -no one is more uptight than the guys at the NCRS(Nat. Corv. Restor's Soc.) who will tag you for points on an incorrectly dated windshield that is as clear as any other.
