Any Columbus, Ohio owners out there??
I am in Columbus (Easton area) for a few weeks on business and
would like to possiby meet up with local owners and discuss your comments and opinions, etc. regarding the various cobra models. I have an unsatisfied desire to own one of these jewels and would like input regarding suspension, motors, manufacturers, etc...and of course to see some nice looking cars.
Weekends are best - and preferrably on a dry day.... what's with this weather??
(Came to Columbus same day as DV meet and missed the darn thing completely - bad planning on my part.)
Thanks so much,
ron.knowles@gte.net

Ron,
I feel slighted!
By all means feel free to stop in at the shop. About 40 minutes from Easton. 670 west to I-70 west - 15 minutes from 70 and 270 on the west side of Columbus.
70 west to exit 72, St. Rt. 56. Turn right, go to the first road, Old Columbus Rd., turn right...first drive on the left. If you get to the Marathon Station you just passed us!
740-852-5280. Unfortunately I'll be gone this weekend, leaving my Partner, Jay to run things
Jay will do you well. We've got an Everett Morrison in house, couple of Classics roadsters, at least one of our DV's and maybe a DV II will also be available. A FFR Daytona Cp, a couple of Antiques and Collectibles Street Rods. You can at least see how A&C builds their cars. OHhh... FF's new Spyder is in house too.
Rick Dorman and Frank Fostria (sp) are both in Columbus. I'm sure they will be glad to meet with you. Heck they might even come out to the shop for you if the stinkin' weather will ever dry out!
DV...DVSF III took place, the clouds parted for the first time in SIX months, absolutely perfect weekend. Come Tuesday after the Fling it started to rain and I don't think it's quit yet!

Ed,
I did come to your shop a few Saturdays's ago and Jay has a pending quote out to me at this moment.
I know you lean heavily toward the Classic but I was hoping to check out a couple of others - possibly a Backdraft.
Jay has invited me back and I would love to come by Saturday around 2:00 but only if someone plans to be there already.
Let me know and I'll respond accordingly.
Thanks,
ron.knowles@gte.net

Ahhh,
He did tell me "someone" stopped in but couldn't remember the name! It's 5:30 OOT AM and I'm headed out of town. I do think tha Jay does plan on being in on Saturday, at least he'd better be!
Give him a call today to make sure though. As far as Backdraft goes, I haven't seen any locally yet. Not sure there is one around these parts.
DV...At least the weather is looking a LITTLE better!

I'm in Columbus, just on the NW corner. I have a Superfromance 427S/C 352W Stroker I'd be gled to show you. You can call me @ 889-2358. I'll have it in the Len Immke Auto Show this weekend @ Dublin Metro Center but I'll be home evenings. I love to show the car!!

Geeze, I sell my Cobra, and everybody forgets about me!
Ron, my wife lived in the Tri-Cities for a spell, and we spent some time around Seattle. We love the area, paticularly around Leavenworth and that part. Anyway, if I can help in any way with Cobra info, just lemme know! I don't have a car for the moment, but I still have lots of stupid opinions!
