Default Any weekday cruise-ins in San Diego?

I'm gonna be there next Monday - Thursday. Any good car stuff to see in the area?

Is the automotive museum in Balboa Park worthwhile?

Ben

Hey Ben:

The only one I know of during the week is La Mesa on Thursday night. I believe it is on Spring St. Stay one more day and Escondido on Grand Ave. is Friday night.

THe Auto museum is OK, although there is not much to it. It varies what cars they have on exhibit. Most of the museums at Balboa park are fairly small--call ahead to see which ones are free during the week. The Spanish Inquisition Torture exhibit is pretty cool, if its still there. Balboa Park is relaxing and you should see it if you have a chance.

downtown encinitas has a thurs. car show (north county). it's held in old down town encinitas on old highway 101 right next to the beach. the auto museum is ok, but the aviation museum (next door) is even better.

Thanks for the info guys. How about good family-friendly beaches? Any where from SD all the way up to Carlsbad...

If you want a full list of cruise nights go to:

For beaches try La Jolla Cove or Del Mar. Oceanside has a nice beach right at the harbor. Very family friendly and a nice clean beach.
