crandell,
For some members, including me who spent a fair chunk of money for their Shloominum cars, that may be a little too harsh.
If we had known, we WOULD have bought a FFR or a Corvette.
We just didn't know.
Why haven't you been posting up until now. We could have used that kind an advice and wisdom. Contribute more often, you seem to have it all figured out. Others may benefit from your wisdom.
For some of us, it is too late.
Damn!

crandell: Deloreans were stainless steel. I know, both silver, metal cars, easy mistake to make.

I disagree, Most Vettes are terrible investments. My friend has one he paid 52,000 for that he can't give away. Your best investment is a Shelby, But you have to buy right and do much of the restoration yourself. Two pewople I know just purchased FFR at SEMA. Not sure if they are that great an Investment.

sorry, pk, for the time lag... (this thread has fallen off my radar...you know, enough is enough... )
All Cobras came with soft top and side curtains as standard gear.
..and, yes, red was a 289 interior color.
ahhh.... white with red interior and spokes...vintage 60's look.

I knew I had seen red as in interior color, but I didn't know all the orig. had side curtains/soft top.
These days I'm leaning toward a clone of the FIA that was destroyed (white stripe/no 11?). Have a CSX # for it?
