Turk Coming Over to the Dark Side
Haha. Could it be true? Turk coming over to the dark side, with us "little" block guys. I'd love to see it.

OK, I have to plead a bit of ignorance on the 930 Porsche. I thought a 930 was something like this:

Evan,
I think that you may encounter some serious competition for Turk's Porsche. I heard that Thomas Kirkham is loosing sleep over the car and has vowed celibacy until the 930 is in HIS garage.
Now THAT'S commitment. Not to be outdone by sibling rivalry, David Kirkham has vowed to have a Jesse Ventura haircut if his brother wins the bid!

All kidding aside that 930 looked better in London @ the Fling than it probably ever did when the dealer had it new--and Turks "tin can" was just as awesome to say the least---
I'd of made the deal w/ Dan if I'd been in the same situation as Turk--Porsches may not be your thing but that 930 was truly something else--a Porsche Lover's dream ride.

Buzz,
I am still going to own a CSX4000. I am not going away that easy, just that I won't be able to drive it until next January due to registration problems in California. We get 500 new registrations available to us each year, and they are all gone this year. I must wait my turn.
Porsche originally belonged to good Doctor Semko and he also traded his CSX4308 to me for my 4108. His needs work (engine and tranny are missing). Mine was ready to drive. That is all. Had a CSX , still do. Just a different one.
I can't say enough good things about the way I was treated by Shelby people in Las Vegas, and they gave me no reaion to go do something different.
The quick turnover wasn't any of their doing. It is all Dan Semko.
Ron61,
You can still come and see it. You won't know the difference. They all look alike.
Chaplin,
If the thread mill does not have an ashtray attached to it, it can't be mine.
Tom T,
No!
HIQ,
Thanks.
CowTownCobra,
Yeah! It is kinda like that. A new Reality Show called,
Let's watch Turk Go broke! I think it will be a mini-series on CBS.
Brett,
NO!
Evan,
You snooze...I looze.
rdoorman,
"A wheeler Dealer"? Who me?
I am stuck with a Porsche I can't drive (too low a miles to enjoy while putting miles on it)
A CSX Cobra that is no longer mine, waiting to be shipped to it's rightfull owner.
A new CSX that is stuck in some Doctor's garage in Indiana.
A Harley Davidson, I am scared to ride.
Tell me how good a wheeler dealer I am.
I now have a fellow who wants to trade me another Harley Davidson for the Porsche. Another who is looking to trade a 1979 10th. Anniversary TransAm with the spread chicken on the hood. Only 1700 miles.
It is like a curse. How do I end all this so I can go back to driving something?
I am afraid if I take the motorcycle or the TA as a trade in, someone will want to trade me a Cobra or a Porsche and start the whole damn thing again.
mrmustang,
You ARE bad! I am a newbie compared to you.
clois,
NEVER
Ernie,
Had to sell the gold chains to buy into a transportation company to move all this iron around the country.
Greg,
NO. Hell NO!
G.R,
Thanks. Don't tell ME. Tell Evan.

Turk - I read your Ebay description - you have missed out a very important piece of provenance for the Porker - "as driven by Mr Wilf Leek, refined English Gashole".
You are so right about the flatspotted tyres tho'.
Will probably lose you a couple of thousand dollars on the bidding because of that omission.
Edit: Now that I look back on this post, I am unsure if the words "refined" and "Gashole" appearing so closely together is appropriate.

wilfo,
Of ALL of the Gasholes, you ARE the most refined. Being "refined" and a "Gashole" is an "oxymormon"

I heard through the grapevine that Thomas Kirkham's eye sight worsens as each bidding day passes and that his brother actually immortalizes Yul Brenner.
This is NOT going to pretty foks so start your medications early and increase your health coverage benefits. I believe that Brigham Young has excellent medical facilities!
