I think an extra $500 would be a popular price.

It can be easily figured as to the final cost. You start with the difference in price from mild steel to stainless material. Then you add the difference in welding material costs. Also if it's more labor intensive then you add that in. This way you get a fair cost for the stainless option.

I promise to drive it a lot and show it off so you'll get plenty of advertising with mine.

That is absolutely spectacular. Now, if I could just hit all 6 numbers... My first thought was about the difference in modulus of elasticity between stainless and carbon steels (modulus of elasticity is what most people think of as "stiffness"). But it sounds like you've thought it through pretty well. Do you need someone to put some test miles on it for you?

Jamo,

If you got back hair, get rid of that as well. Might double the reduction

David,

How much does all this shiney stuff add to the cost of the car --- approximately? I did not see mention on the website.

David,

Keith would have the whole southeast sold on this option within a year. He deserves a demo car!

David,
What on earth are you going to think of next? I didn't think it was possible to improve upon my KMP 173. I love that car! Stainless frames and improved/lighter control arms, more options for the masses to personalize their Kirkhams. I like what you are doing. As always, phenominal work!

David -- beeeee-u-tiful!

Why don't you just get it over with and start making 427 side oilers, too? Just imagine -- a real Kirkkham 427 SO!

Beautiful work David.......

How much do you want for the 1st prototype Kirkham Coupe, or the King Kirkham as well? If you build it....they will come!

Would that be with a stainless steel block?
Then how about a stainless body?
Stainless rims?
Stainless radiator (I'd like to hear more about this one actually)?

Was there a problem with earlier Kirkham frames rusting?

I have a CSX car that uses Kirkham frame and a body. I am sure the body is ok, but the frames shouldn't rust even if they were made out of steel, should they?
