Heat insulation sheeting

Can anyone recommend a very good and very thin heat shilding material? I want to put it under the carpet that goes in the footbox, so it cannot be very bulky.

Lew,
I used the "cool-it insulating mat" from the Jeg's catalog. I just glued it down around the foot box where it would get warm from the external components and then glued the carpeting to it and it worked great.
