Video camera wind noise & Intercoms (Peltor 100)

I have a few questions on video cameras...

- How do you reduce the wind noise in the camera? Mount a microphone behind the seat?, as capturing the car "music" is important.

- Has anyone wired the Peltor 100 into a video camera (audio in). I know the 110 model has a connection.

I run a seperate mic and place it in the passenger footwell. Picks up the engine sound quite nicely and it's out of the wind. I've also had good luck placing a lavilear mic under a full face helmet on Bob Bondurant and recorded his comments while he was driving.
