Doug - You have one great photo gallery. I'm going to come back to it when I have a few hours to spend. You must buy film by the truckload.

I am glad you like them
I am glad you like them. I do tend to take a lot of photos at each event. However I shoot all Digital now so I don't have to worry about shooting so much.
Feel free to browse the galleries.

Doug,
That Red GT-40 and Cobra picture really captures the moment. Great job!

Excellent work...especially action stuff with a digital. What the heck are you using and how are you setting it up (tiff, size, etc.)?
I'm going to print that one of 198 and the GT40 out for Dick Smith (owner of 198). If you have a big, high res. of it--I'd really appreciate it: RonBarsamian@aol.com
Again, outstanding work.

Rowland,
You should be able to right click on the picture and get a pop up menu. One of the selections should be set as wallpaper. At least mine does it.
Doug,
Great pictures and the digital cameras are great for that stuff. I have an Olympus 4000 zoom and I love it but there are much better ones out there. I just wanted to stay under the $400 dollar mark and still have a 4 Megapixil camera.
Jamo,
There are settings on mine for sports, stills, movies, and about everything else you can think of. I can ever make the background sort of blur to give the impression of a fast moving car.

Jamo, I shot this event in JPEG using a Nikon D100 with a very nice lens 70-200 f/2.8 with Vibration reduction. Each image is 3000x2000
I'm sorry that I can not send you the file. However if you would like to present Dick Smith with a print.... I do prints as well. I have already printed the Cobra passing the GT40 for my garage wall (mini gallery) on 12x18 matte paper and must say the red color really jumps out at me.
shoot me an email if interested bdougr@pacbell.net

You have e-mail.
Ron
I have similar settings on my 5 mega Sony 707, including "burst 3" for half-a$$ed stop action--but results are a few steps below Dougs. More practice needed, no doubt.
