Chaplin,

Are you interested in a Stainless Hybrid FIA? They really handle much better than the original leaf spring car. We are making 2 of them right now. Seems like every time we put something on ebay, we sell 3 cars for every one we sell on ebay.

Great, glad to know it's alive and well. Hopefully it's tucked in the corner safely as I won't need it for a while. I can't wait to see or hear it.

I am in no hurry and do not want to rush anyone. I want everyone to take their time and do it right. Best to build it right right from the start. You know the old saw, "marriage in haste...". This is a marriage.

How about those inner door pix?

David, you're just like my wife and kids. Everything I say they try and hold me to.
Why don't you save everybody(me ) alot of time(mine ) and money(mine ) and just let Rich pick the car up for me next week. I'll forward the funds(same as the last car) and we'll call it even. Who needs all the Ebay drama when we have a long term relationship to think about? Sounds like a plan. Do you still take checks?

I'll need a DD. I don't want the only hybrid in GA getting ragged out.

What's a DD? Not in my southern dictionary. I am trying to keep up with Lew L, even though I said he already won. One word, son, "Stainless" .

Yes a FIA car would make a nice vintage racer, just not sure I can afford the cases of "Depends" to drive it at 10/10ths on the track .

Durt,
On the subject of sniping, it's funny, just a couple of days ago I had someone try to explain it to me. He told me that you can
go to a web site called snipe.com or something like that to get an edge on bidding. You pay them a fee and somehow they will
shoot a winning bid out for you in the last 3 seconds of the auction.
I probably am over simplifying it a bit. Maybe someone could fill in the blanks for me.

David, Steve or Tom K.,

A brief digression for a minute. Are those pads on the end of the arms of your lift in your pics made by you guys? Real interesting. Any story behind them, and why not regular? Have the round frame tubes caused some worries from a slippage on the lift perspective?

SFCJ,

If this goes for what you paid for your car last time, you'll have to scrape me up off the floor with a spatula as I will be passed out on the floor. When I saw you had bid on the car, I held my breath...Now I can't breathe for another 9 days!!!

See what you did to me?

David
