Default Jay Leno's replica

In a recent Popular Mechanic's article Jay Leno made a comment about the Cobra 427SC and stated that he owns a replica. Can someone tell me what manufacturer of Replicas is his? The link to his article about the top ten cars follow below:

He did own one of these... I think one of the first aluminum replicas, made by a company, at that time, called M&L.
(Now called Von Gennadi design)

I would assume that Jay could buy an original if he chose to do so now. Perhaps at the time he bougt the M&L car he could not? Or maybe he's just "smart" about managing his money, regardless of "how much" he might have?

It sure would be interesting to get some insight as to why he went with a re-creation Cobra! Having a "cammer" motor in his car is VERY cool. Would he have done that with an original car? I don't think so.

By the way, anybody know if the Cobra he has now IS still the M&L car?

Ernie
