Default A&C Body

Hey Rismoes,

I was really pleased witht he A&C body. There were no mold marks; they do a really nice job. See the pics in my gallery.

I'm getting close to completing my build and their kit is really an easy build. There were some minor adjustments I had to make but other then that no problems.

When you start building, if you have any questions or problems, feel free to call on me. That goes for anyone else out there building an A&C.

Tony

Sorry for the delay. . . . long week.

I went up on Monday to see my brother in law and family (about 2 hours from A&C), then Tuesday, we went to get the body, first thing.

All went very well! The body looks gorgeous, they really did an awesome job!

check out pictures: (the last picture really shows the color well, the others make it look too light for some reason.)

NMattison, yes, I did see your completed body in the back! It caught my attention because it was orange. It looked like it was in the process of being polished. . . .

Tomorrow we marry the body onto the frame!

Thanks!

Rob

Rob: watch the headers when you are lowering the body down. You may want to take them off. Also, did Joe tell you to pick the body up by the wheel wells, not the rear or nose.
I noticed in your pics you ran the battery cable up over the rear cross member. If you are planning (2) roll bars you will have to move the cable to go under. Also suggest mounting your radiator support before you put on the body. Your build looks great so far.
Keep those pics coming. Any help with stuff, email me or any of the other guys with A & C's.
Jim

PNJSNAK,
Thanks for the heads up! The headers are on there just for fun. Only two bolts finger tight per side. It will be coming off along with the carb. I didn't know that about the wheel wells, good to know! Thanks! It will only have one roll bar. . . .

Tomorrow is the day, I'll post pictures on my website tomorrow night or Monday night.

All right Ris!

A&C may scare the heck out of you when you pull up, but the finished products are just amazing!

DV...another one for the Fling! Well done.

Default Nice Color

Hey Ris,

I like the color, reminds me of the one sitting in my garage; LOL. Seriously, look at the pics in my gallery.

I don't know what you plan to do with mounting the sidepipes to the headers. The preferred way to go is to keep themas a slip fit as opposed to having flanges made. I used tabs welded to the headers and to the sidepipes and then bolted them together. You only need them on two opposing pipes on each side.

Did you measure your outriggers? one side extends 1" further from the main frame rails than the other side. don't try to measure up for your sidepipes without the body on.

Tony
