I believe it to be a B&B or whoever made that body before them. It has classic B&B lines. Like the rake from front fender to the rear of the door is not straight. One thing is for sure, it's not a CSX!

I would be pissed if I was the owner of CSX3036.

Lets call a spade a spade here. What ever it is.... it aint what he says it is. This guy is scaming and either he has got a couple of buddies (or more than one email address) and he's bidding it up to make it look like people think it's worth something. Or..... his story is working and some poor sucker who doesn't know about CC is going to get taken. I wouldn't bet a nickle that's a side oiler in there either. Afterall.......... anybody who would believe that that thing looks "exactly" like a real CSX...... sure wouldn't know a side oiler from a 390.

I e-mailed the owner and after several days he responded. It is a Shell Valley Car (he says) and that is the number on the VIN tag and registration. He says he'll take the highest offer over the $39,500 reserve. Take it from there.

So the obvious question.
I guess Shell Valley made SOME bodies out of Kevlar?
$39K is a "real" stretch I think. But it does have a 427,,,,I guess, unless it's a 390 dress-up.

obvious ignorance on the part of the seller (assuming the best) and the reason for the saying buyer beware. I have never bought anything for more than a few dollars that didnt get thorough research and in the case of cars, a thorough examination by a professional. Frank

So the guy knows it is a Shell Valley and sells it as a CSX car?

the state of Wisc only used the digits in the Shelby VIN as the ID# ...i.e., CSX3208 was the VIN but had 3208 as an ID# on my registration back in the mid-60's
