Wow,,,,,it gives me chicken skin to see it! It surely is as close to a "barn find" as we'll likely ever see!
Well done!

Neat pics--makes me glad I have a white replica also although it does have stripes--there really were original Cobras in other than blue or red

well not exactly!
As I corrected in an earlier post...this was not a "barn" find
though it was indeed the very FIRST "real" Original" Authentic"
"Shelby" Cobra I have ever seen unlike some of you who either had one back when you were a kid or had friend, a neighbor or uncle that had one.
...and it does not qualify as an "urban legend" becuase the owner knows what he has and its value.
Never the less when I heard the story, I just had to track it down
otherwise I would have just assumed the guy that told me was full of siht.
Thanks Cal, Ron, Turk, Ernie and TC for your support!
OHEKK
Next... an old friend of the family told me his brother is in a nursing home and has a 1932 Packard convertible in his barn.
He said I could have it for free!
Whats a 32 Packard worth?
Stay tuned!

Pamela & Carmen?
Maxvelo...Next time Pam and Carmen sleep with you, I suggest that you get pictures like your buddy Rem!
Since you "swear" that "really" it's true, some will take your word for it however others here may demand to see pictures!
By the way...Rem...did you get those pictures developed yet?
I've got a friend that will scan and post them for you if you can't!

With the engine under going a re-build can we assume the owner is in the process of a restoration? Sure would be nice to track that over time!

I saw these pics at turks in 35mm standard prints before they were scanned. They were the real deal. I can't say where the car was or how it was found but I know ohekk sent them to turk...

A digital camera and cable!
Gee... thanks you guys! You shouldn't have!
I'll be sure to put it to good use!
..and now about the '32 Packard...
I checked it out..it was a '37 Packard Six, 4 door sedan. It was in the old guys family since new.
It was indeed parked in a barn back in 1957!
Years later as the barn deteriorated, the car was pulled out and parked in a field!
Wisconsin weather took its toll not much to save!
Sorry, but I'm one of those guys that when I hear one of these stories I just have to follow up!
Now...did ya hear the one about...
