New Club Member - ERA375 427 S/C
Hi: Just joined a few days ago and am happy to announce that ERA375 has a new home! Purchased today from the original owner who gave her loving care for the last 10 years. She has a 428FE engine with toploader trannie. Dark non-metalic blue with white LeMans stripes. Chrome rollbar and black sidepipes with an orginal set of Hilde's and knockoffs. Carb is an 850 double pumper. Condition of the car is immaculate both inside and out.
Just waiting for the insurance card to arrive and then once registered she will drive on down the road here in CT. The car was built during the 1991-93 time frame. A bit scary to drive at first. BRUTAL is the word that most comes to mind.... you know what I mean. Does everything fast, hard, tight, loud, and lets you know that hehh hehh... too much is never enough.
So I hop ya'll welcome me and the old girl aboard.
Here is a picture up on jack stands....

Great looking car... I'm assuming that is your wife or girlfriend in the background. What a great expression of excitement on her face..
Congrats...

My Wife is On the Right
Yup,that is my much better half on the right. Former owners significant on the left. My wife is really happy with it. "It's so Cute and Small" ....
However, when it started up she freaked out. "Sound's like 4 Harley's are idling in here" she said....
Hugh! You should see my face! Hard to get to sleep at night if you know what I mean....

Art--
Welcome to the group! You'll find this a great forum on Cobras and a good place to hook up with people (that's the REAL positive of owning a Cobra).
Keep it straight, don't get on it around corners and see how many alarms you can set off in the neighborhood

Congrats Art. Hope you have a blast with the car. Hope to see you out at future Cobra events.

Congratulations Art,
If I were you, I would stay with the car in the garage tonight with or without your happy wife until you really really get sleepy, then go to bed. And get up in the morning and go to your garage and see if it wasn't a dream. I did, and when I realized it wasn't a dream I took it for a ride. What a feeling.
Happy driving.

Congratulations on your new addition to your family. Hope you have many years of happiness with the car. You will not find a better product than an ERA car.

Wow,
Does three days break the previous record of joining CC and actually purchasing a cobra?

Hey Art:
Who's better than you? Let me know when you're legal and we'll get together for a ride.
Don't let the guys at DMV register the car as anything after 1968.

Congratulations on a great looking car. You'll find the 428 FE to be a true stump-puller. Hang on tight and enjoy the ride.

Thats a really great looking snake. I too would sleep in the garage, to wake up and recognize its not a dream! And you are lucky, having full support of your wife.
