Unhappy selling the car.

I've been working on my car for 3 years (3000+ hours) and still have some little details, but I've come to realize the practicality of this car. It's been great fun, but with a family and teenagers I just don't have the time or the space for it. I coucld also use the money. I'd like to know how much to ask for it. It's got a 302 that has been bored .030, 1.90 intake 1.64 exhaust valves, roller rockers, forged pistons, balanced and blue printed everything was magnafluxed. A 670 holey street dominator on a dual plane manifold and on and on. It's also got an 8.8" posi independent rear with HAL coilovers on all corners. The dash is real carbon fiber with moon eye gauges. T5 transmision. I'd appreciate any reply as to what you think and I'll try to post more and better pictures. Thanks Dave

You built the frame?! That is a talent. Having an Unknown brand must make it tough to value but I am sure you will get some input here at CC.

Best of Luck!

Just my 0.02 worth, but maybe you are suffering from burn out.
I was thinking the same as you about six months ago. My solution was to put a cover on the car for a few months to get it out of my sight and mind for a while.
After a few months I was ready to dig in again. The car is now on the road ( after 5 years of building )
Just a thought. Do what you think is right for you.

The car is on the road and is working great for 300+ miles so far. A lot of effort to get it registered, but it's registered as a 1967 Ford Cobra. I've redesigned the rear suspension and went from aluminum lower arms I made to chrome molly ones. I've made all the frame and suspension, except the shocks. I've made a lot of the parts on it. It's been exciting stepping on the gas and sinking into the seat because of raw horse power. Check my photo gallery for more photos. Thanks for the replies so far. Dave

I too got the burn out on the one I finished after 6 years. I got the notion I wanted to build everything myself. I envied everyone at the midpoint who had a Kit to work from. I took about a year off from construction then somehow got re energized, and have been driving the perverbial wheels off of it....6,500 miles so far with no big problems. Yeah the feeling of driving it for the first time after all those years is still fresh in my mind.
