Default Cobra prices?

I have seen a lot of Cobras for sale. But outside the originals, the Kirkham's and Shelby's, what do they usually sell for? (Assuming a big block, new everything, etc, like mine, but completed, of course)

Since you're unaware of what Cobras are worth, I'm going to offer you 12K for your completed car as soon as it's done..
Sure this sounds like a lot of money but you sound like a nice guy and I want to treat you correctly. This is assuming that the big block and new everything is included...

But seriously, at this point any cash puts you ahead RIGHT NOW. In most circumstances, a finished car will sell quicker than a garage full of new parts. (however, there IS someone looking for a partially-completed Cobra for sale Now, if you were to pay someone to finish the car for, say, $5,000, (estimated) and turn around and sell it for, say, $40,000, you would recoup more of your already-invested money. Unfortunately, things like this are a crapshoot. Depending on how fast you want to sell, determines the price you will get for the car. Start high and, depending on how soon you want to sell, drop your price accordingly. I have no idea how much a partially - completed Cobra is worth, but Double Venom would probably have a good idea what it is worth.

I have no rush or even a desire to sell this car. So if the highest bid is still too much of a loss, I will keep it and complete it. But if someone is willing to pay what it is really worth, than I can let it go. No desparate give aways here. . .

Where are you getting stuck on the car Rob? Which part was the last straw?

I'm not really stuck at any point. It's that this has just gotten too expensive for me. $10,000 more than I would have thought so far and we're not done. . .

What else do you need to spend money on? The motor and the roller are done right? It seems like it is mostly labor from here on in. Just a stab in the dark but, I'll bet anyone that buys an unfinished kit is gonna want a great deal on it. There are too many unknowns. You're gonna have a hard time getting your price so I would put my nose to the grindstone and finish this thing. What a shame at this point for you to not drive this thing on its maiden voyage.

Ask around for parts, go on ebay, ask around here, maybe it wont be as expensive as you think. I'll bet there are a lot of guys from the Cobra brotherhood that would like to see you finish it and help you with parts and labor...

I have been back and forth of this for quite some time. if I can't get back at least most of what I already put into it, than I will complete the car and deal with the finances in time.

It's not like it's a bad car, it's just so much more than I imagined. . . I sold a 99 Vette to do this. It seems like I gave up a lot.

Well, it looks like you've overdone it a bit. I don't think you will ever see 39k for an unfinished anything. What's done is done, can't reverse it. As stated, you seem to have 95% of it either done or have the parts in house. So finish the thing and then maybe you can get a good price for it. Of course by then you will want to keep it and drive the $hit out of it.
