Default Just found out our baby will be a boy! Any infant Cobra stuff??

As many of you know, my wife and I left DVSFIII with a little present, our first child. We just found out yesterday that it is a boy (the due date is March 14th). Yes, I would have been very happy if it was a girl. Truthfully all that matters is that it is healthy, and he is.

This boy needs to learn Cobras from the day he is born. Any ideas on getting Cobra stuff for infants? I can get plenty of sports things (he's already got tiny Flyers socks). Anyone make a Cobra blanket? Cobra stroller body kit? Cobra pacifier? Bill, I know you've got stuff on Cobrapromotions.net, and we'll definitely being doing business.

Steve and Kara...and to be named baby boy.

Congrats.

My wife and I have a 8 week old boy, and I cant wait to go over closed end/open end wrenches with him!

Can't add any clothes sites but I will be following the post so I too can start my man off right. Thanks for bringing it up.

John,
I don't know how to turn wrenches . I'm hoping it's something my son and I can learn together!

Rich,
Yeah baby!! That's what I'm talking about. But I need to find one for an infant. I think that one is for a toddler. Gotta have a newborn one.

Still hoping to find someone who knows someone that makes baby quilts or other clothes too.

Kara and I are now looking for safe transportation for the kid too. My company 2001 Jeep Cherokee now has 70,000 miles on it. For a Jeep, that's near the end of it's useful life. I should be able to turn that in for a 2004 Jeep Liberty soon (I don't get a choice of cars, they supply them to us through a fleet company). Wife drives a 2001 Acura 3.2TL. We looked at Volvo wagons, but didn't like them. Going to look at the 2004 Acura 3.2TL tomorrow. Gotta love the wife, she HATES minivans. Refuses to look at them. Or SUVs. She loves cars, just like me...

Steve,
May I be the first to suggest a name? Given the Spring Fling connection, in honor of His Gasholiness how about AYTAC; you could call him "Little Turk". Then again, maybe that's not such a good idea.

Seriously, wishing you and Mrs. Klayfish all the best and congratulations!

Thumbs up

Steve,
Congrat's on the pre-staged baby boy! My wife and I had our first, a boy, 7 weeks ago. It is a thrill beyond words. Also, as the time gets near, I highly recommend the parenting classes, since those little buggers don't come with owners manuals.

As to the kiddie Cobra stuff, we haven't found a whole lot. Perhaps a business opportunity here? Rumor has it, Cedar Point amusement park has little 1/3 scale Briggs&Stratten Cobras as part of a ride. I'm planning a late night run, cloaked in black. I'll pick up two.

Also, if you want the inside scoop on the new TL, PM me. I was part of the development team that engineered this thing. It is one sweet sedan. If you test drive it, you'll buy it. I recommend the six speed, just to get the Brembo brakes. I KNOW you can both shift, right??

Take good care!
~Dave

Rebel,
Yeah, the Spring Fling is what caused this thing!! When I go next year, DON'T let me go back to the hotel with the wife!!

Jeff,
Wouldn't they sue me for naming rights?? Seriously, if it was a girl, my wife wanted to name it Shelby Renee. And it had nothing to do with 'ol Shel, she just liked that name. But since it's a boy, now we are back to square one.

Dave,
I am lucky in that my wife worked in the NICU of a hospital for several years and still works with children (she is a speech/language pathologist), so babys for her are second nature. I'm totally unprepared! I never will be ready I guess. You've got to steal...uh..buy...one of those little go-carts. There is definitely a business opportunity for baby Cobra stuff. I'm thinking about offering some on my website, www.snakebitebyklayfish.com but not sure how much of a market there is.

You've got PM on this TL thing. We love our current model, and can't wait to see the new one. Has to be an auto. She can drive stick, but doesn't want one for a daily driver.

Steve

Default Congrats!!!!!

He'll be more fun than anything else, I guarantee!!!! We named our daughter Shelby . As for cars, howabout a Lincoln LS in black with saddle interior - awesome car!

Haven't found much in the way of 'Cobragear' for the kidlet, but always looking.

Dang Rich, wish I would've seen that about 1-1/2 years ago when I needed it!!!!

Steve,

As he grows up and you begin to buy clothes for him you will be soo damn jelous! There are all kinds of cool Cobra clothes out there for kids! My 4 yr old son has all kinds of cobra stuff the wife finds at Wal_Mart and gosh only knows where else she shops while I'm working. And none of it fits me.

Congrats!!

Bill,
The drool blanket sounds like a great idea. The boy is going to drool once he sees the car , so may as well keep it off the seat! Embroidered diapers...hmmmm.... But I do want to get some little shirts and such.

Mike,
We're going to have such a hard time with the name. I picked out about 12 girls names, and we agreed on Shelby Renee. I just have a hard time with boys names. It'll be perfect. With him being born in March, he'll be about 2 months old at Cobra Revolution II. He'll be in full Cobra dress.

Steve
