Question How long have you been visiting Club Cobra?

I posted a message on the Aussie forum to see how people found out about Club Cobra, and it got me wondering...

How did you discover Club Cobra, and how long have you been visiting? I know that there's a date shown under our username, but like many others, I was visiting CC long before the software upgrades that wiped the original posts / user details.

It seems like I've been visiting CC since sometime early in 1998. When was CC born? I remember emailing my car photos and details to Brent, back when he used give you a www.clubcobra.com/....htm one page website. Very cute, and a real buzz for me to be able to direct people to "My Website"

The Cobra Gallery is now so much more accessible, and being able to modify your own gallery is obviously less labour intensive for Brent. I visit a number of forums - not all car related - and I must say that this is ALWAYS the first one that I look at. Good people, good and timely information, easy navigation, and Brent always seems to have some little upgrade up his sleeve just to keep everything fresh. A credit to everyone involved!

For me it has been since the latter half of 2001. I happened across Club Cobra while doing a search looking at manufacturers. I couldn't begin to list the number of people I have met nor the knowledge I have gained from the people here. I even bought my car from a listing here. I am addicted to this place!

It seems to me that I started visiting the site in mid 2000 but really can't recall for sure. Then I decided to join as I could ask questions and that is one of the better decisions I have made in my later years.

It would have early 2001. Check it at least 5 times a day to see what is going on.

I have been visiting here since around Sept '99, my car was done before I came here, but, have had a lot of fun, just the same. Have met many Cobra lovers, and even got some good upgrade knowledge. Like Rick, I am addicted to this place, by the way, is the next fling still on? Had a great time this year, waant to make it a yearly event, need to try and meet the people I missed this year.

While performing online research on Cobras (pre-Google), I was fortunate enough to stumble across Club Cobra the day after Brent launched it in January, 1999.

Brent, you should be very proud of your creation. We have all benefitted mightily from your largess.

Thanks!

I found (a now long gone) Factory Five forum ... where they told me that I'd get a better responce (with my CRL Cobra) over here... and I've been here since February of 1999.

I am fairly new as of 2002, but find myself here daily and really appreciate the people and information that have been shared with me. The humor here also reminds me of my racing days and the commaraderie at the tracks. This is way cool and way appreciated.

This Bud has a born on date of 2/6/2000

I am sure that I was bored to death and searching for something better to read on the internet.

Found this site and ....... well ....... have kept reading since then.

Had the Cobra bug since 1997 and was probably just researching for used Cobras and all.
