Default Front Caliper Question- 4 vs 6 pistons

What 6 piston calipers fit inside Trigo 15 in rims? Has anyone used the 6 piston Wilwood , Alcon, AP Racing or Brembo 4 piston (think this is what the Spec Racer uses) on 15 in Trigo's? I have heard that 12.19 in rotors will work with Trigo- is this correct as well or too big?

thanks
Ed

Ed, the 1`2.19's will work with the trigo's. I have them both with the 4 piston 1 3/4 willwoods up front. The 6 piston wilwoods require 14 1/2 inches to clear. I know that the shelby spec racers are running 6 pistons up front with a 15 inch wheel but I don't know if they run the pin drives. Scott

I have 6-piston Wilwoods with 17 inch rims. I'm pretty sure they won't fit in 15s. Levy Racing is a Wilwood dealer. Also a premier Cobra builder. They would know just what would fit in any application. I would contact them.

Cool

Scott,

The spec racers are running 4 piston Brembo's . Did your Wilwood's come with the Hi-Tech? Do the rear calipers have a built in parking brake?

Default wilwoods

UNIQUE is using a wilwood set up that has 13 inch rotors and 4 piston calipers. I do not know the specs but still fit inside 15 inch trigos to boot. I would love to know the part numbers for this set up.
thanks DEAN

I don't beleive that any thing large than the 12.19" rotor will fit inside of 15" trigos.
