Ernie,
This Bricklin looks a little better than the one you posted.

The 1967 Ferrari 330 P4. Sports car? How 'bout calling it a very limited racing sports car. It did have two seats. It did compete against the GT40 Mk II and IV. After the 1, 2, 3 sweep by GT40's in the 1966 LeMans, Ferrari P4's got revenge in '67 with a 1, 2, 3
sweep at Daytona. A replica was available for awhile. I think it was called the Noble P4.

Duane,
I have to agree with you.

Do you know how many were ever built?

I second the 365GTB4 convertible. It broke my heart when they blew up the one in Miami Vice, also this was "only" a replica.

Another choice for me would the Jag XK 150 in race trim, like this one:
(there should be a picture here, but they only allow me 40K???? any advice, please? )

OK, so I put them in the gallery.

..always have admired the mid-late 60s version of the Volvo 1800E.... almost bought the wagon (ES) version in mid-70s.

Have to agree, Ron. For a company making safety oriented Econoboxes, The 1800 was a very handsome car with great lines. Could be one of the best buys out there today.

Doesn''t some guy hold the Guiness World record with one of these for most miles accumulated?

One of my favorites, that Volvo 1800. A car you never hear much about, but whenever I see one it always turns my head!

If we are including "sports racers" one certainly cannot overlook the stunning Aston Martin DBR1. Nicer lines than the Scarabs, IMO.

Default Slightly O.T...

Here's my vote for the butt-fugliest design of all time - the horrific Tatra 603t. I wonder what gets into the French when it comes to designing cars.

Buzz -- the Tatra was built in Czechoslovakia. Funny-looking, but interesting with its air-cooled V8 in the tail.

Thanks for the heads-up Speedraser. You are indeed correct - for some reason, I recalled the Tatra as a French design. My bad.

Here's another "interesting" Czech original design. This is the SB (small bullock) version. The Big Bullock is arguably more powerful and faster, but the SB may have the handling edge.

Ernie,
Don't you wish your Bricklin looked this nice? You wouldn't have had to wear a brown paper bag over your head while driving it.

Is she bending over or bent over because of the weight of her headlight?

Yes.

Now for my favorite of all time, the Dino Ferrari.

Default a 1957 red BMW 507

or, if you can't afford one of those, a 1957 BMW Isetta 300.
(Hard to believe they were built by the same company in the same year)
