I think that saying the Miura doesnt qualify because the engine is in the back just like the gt40 isnt a fair comment.

If you go along those lines then you could say all the cars arent origainal because they have front engine rear drive just like the model T ford?

And if the rear engine bit gets you then wasnt the gt40 copied from the Mclaren?

My vote goes to the Miura, in either green or orange.

Think what American manufacturers were making in 1953. The Maserati A6 is an incredible design by historical standards. Makes one wonder why the '53 Corvette couldn't have been more innovative in the design department. Leave it to the Italians.
