Congratulations Kelly!
The Weavers have a great reputation, and build a fine product.
Now you can start your "Christmas Wish List" of Cobra goodies, and distribute it to your family and friends. Order extra catalogs from Finishline, Cobra Restorers, Branda, etc., and just circle the extra "goodies" you would like to have for your new car.
The madness has just begun...welcome aboard!
Regards,
Jeff

Way to go Kelly. I have little doubt that you will be very happy.
Jeff, by the way, your car is one of my favorites! I have drooled over it at the past to Flings. I promise next time I will bring a towel to clean up! I keep looking at those webbers and wondering '....would he notice if I swap my induction with his?"

Congratulations,
The madness has just begun. Sleepless nights, organizing garage space, bribing your wife to compensate for this 'minor' expense, etc. It's all good. I'm dying to see a picture of your color combination. You will definitely stand out from the crowd.

Congratulations Kelly! I just sold my second Unique and I was very pleased with the help the Weavers gave me over the years. They make a great car and I am sure you will be pleased!!! Look forward to meeting you in Austin and with any luck my Daytona coupe will make its debut there?

Good for you! Savor the anticipation, because it can be as rewarding as actually owning the car. You are only going to live thru this time once so enjoy!

Congrats!!
You will find the build to be a rewarding process with no surprises or disappointments. Nothing, however, can prepare you for that first drive in your completed Unique Cobra! Enjoy!

Congratulations Bitten,
I have a Unique in the garage and it sits beside the Shelby.....really love it. mine has a stroked 427 in it with the Tremec TKO 5-speed behind it. I modified the front A- arms to a heim jointed NASCAR style set up that has had really positive effects on the handling and drivability of the car that the Weavers have not adopted.
If you look at ....a little heresy here...the Shell Valley Web site they have an Orange/tangerine car that I have seen at Knotts Berry Farm in person that is just beautiful, if you have your heart set on Orange that could be a place to start from and then look to adjust the color to your tastes.
Congrats again on the new project,
Tony R.

Cadillac offers the CTS in a burnt orange metallic. You may want to start there. Also, you can pull up the PPG paint guide and really make yourself nuts...
Good luck. Let us know what you decide.

CONGRATULATIONS
The build is great but the people make the car the most fun. I am still building mine but I have been to the open house @ Unique and SAAC 28 (without car both times) and what a great group to be assoc. with. I had a great time and didn't have a car.But I will be in AL. in the spring (we hope) WITH car and have made reservations for the Pigeon Forge show in Sept. as well.
Hope to see you in the Unique forum too.
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

All right, Kelly! These next three or four months wont go by fast enough for you!!! If I were going orange, I would get the brightest orange I could get. How much attention do you want? Will the orange be metallic? Will the stripes be white-white, or a creamy-milky white? Maybe a white pearl? Remember those 50/50 ice cream bars, with the orange outside of the vanilla?

Congrats! By the way, can you tell me a little more about this "Spring Fling in Austin?" I've not heard of this before.

Tommy,
The Spring Fling is a great gathering of Cobras the last weekend of February in Austin.
I haven't been to it yet, seen pics and have read a lot about it, So some of the forum members that have been need to chime in here and tell you all about it.
Or start your own post asking about it, you will get plenty of feed back.
Edley,
I agree 100%.
If someone (me) has the balls to paint a cobra orange, then it had better be a color that will reach out and grab you
And I think that I have just the color, 2003 Lamborghini "Arancio Ishtar" PPG#62493. As for the white, I think that I will let the painter decide what shade of white will look the best.
Always have Danced to a little bit different beat that most others and I quess that this proves it
And oh yea I remember the "Dreamcicles" you can still get them. That is what I would like to call my car, but I believe that there is a FFR in the Northeast that goes by Dreamcicle.
Now, excuse my, I have to go and spend some money

Austin Spring Fling
Its the Texas Cobra Club annual gathering in Austin. The last weekend of February. All is welcome. Just check the Texas Cobra Club board for more info.
BTW I suppose the car will be burnt orange!
I don't know how the Aggie side of the TCC will like that
