The Coupe that was won at the DVSF II is built and ready to be delivered. Ed and Jay have done a fabulous job in building the Coupe.
The engine was biuillt at Minnesota Classics by Don Scott, Tremec TKO, SVO Rear End with 3:55 gears, Full Sway bars front and rear, Paint and custom construction done at Elite in London , Ohio, Custom foot boxes and Stainless Steel all done by Jay and Ed.
Stack System with full computer control for Fuel and Spark supplied by Wayne Pressley from Verycoolparts.com. , The Electromotive EC3 was also supplied from Wayne.
PS Engineering 17" Wheels, Sumitomo Z rated tires get the 540 HP/578 lb. ft. of torque on the road.
The Coupe will be shippping from Tennesee to California over the next few weeks with Intercity lines, pictures are located in my Gallery.
Best Regards,
Tony Ripepi

Congratulations
Tony congratulations on your finished Coupe.
That is one really sweet looking ride!
I'm green with envy !!
I had the opportunity to see it in Jay's shop at different stages through the last year. It just makes me want one all the more!
Again congrats, and ENJOY IT!

Congrats. again...

I was upset when I didn't win the kit two years ago.. I've just gotten over the disappointment and now I see the completed car... Oh well, I guess another two years will go by quickly and I'll get over it again....

Al,
The winning of the kit was a surprise and the building of it was beyond what I could have done on my own. I was committed from the get go for it to be a special car and had an image of what I wanted. Jay and guys at Elite have fulfilled that image in all respects.
What you can not see in the pictures is the Heater/AC/ totally hidden audio system w/CD Changer, alarm system, electric door openers, hydraulically operated front clip....nobody said anything about the full wheel wells .....flat top drivers footbox, tilton pedal assembly, additional instruments, custom dashboard, Stainless Steel everywhere not to mention the full interior with heat and sound insulation.
Jay has been the primary focus for this build and they have done a great job......can not wait drive it through Crow Canyon and then head over the San Mateo bridge to Pacific coast !!!

Rick,
Hurry! You have to see the stainless in person to appreciate it. Beyond awesome, the fab is mind boggling!
The trick glass/structure work on the hood is also worth a look before you get snagged by the EFI and electronics.
Wow.

TomH,
I am dealing with some family issues but, looking to take the car from Ohio to Tennesee and have it shipped from there to California so, it will be there in London over the weekend.
Take the time to visit Elite if you wanted to see the car this weekend.
