Bill - Can't tell if the body is painted or metal in the picture. If it's a glass car the door hinges look to be the type that Elegant Motors used. There are a few other minor body clues and the hood hinges that make me think it's a Elegant car too. They have been gone about 15 or so years I think, and one of their cars was the very first Cobra I owned in the late 70's, so my memory is more than a bit foggy about this. Time to play name that Cobra guys!

Chris, you're right. The fiberglass may be SMC(?) or another builder/dealer/bastard/cousin associated with LAE back in the 80's. The steel is definately late LAE or early B&B.

Last pitcher Is this a n LA exotic. The door liners are different from thexotice ones that I have seen so far the frame is just two 2x4 rails whit a dog lage in the engine bay the body looks good but the frame is a 2 on a scale of one to ten. The front Kay member is from a pinto or mustang two.

Yup. LAE frame but not body. Might be one of Bruce's bodies when he was in Oklahoma. Only seen one of his a couple of years ago. Very light hood and trunk (single layer). The K-member looks like the first of the square tube set-ups based on the M-II specs. And also M-II upper arm. The frames now are much, much, MUCH better. I'd say try to finish it and dump it and buy a later model.
