Default Desktop Dyno Results

Jayem,
If you can get me your email address I can email you the file for you motor. Here are the peak numbers:
491HP at 7000rpm (485 @ 6500)
450FT#s at 5000rpm (346 @ 2000)

I think that I have the right cam. I have the supercharger as a regular Paxton.
If you have a fax I can even send it that way. You can call me at (808) 479-8508 if you like.
Ciao,
Shawn C.

Thumbs up Specs

Hey Jay,

I ran your #'s, they look good.

390 hp/ 455 ft/lbs @ 4,500 rpm

456 hp/ 435 ft/lbs @ 5,500 rpm

484 hp/ 391 ftlbs @ 6,500 rpm

Looks like it makes good power through 6,000 rpm;

torque starts falling off after that so without an intercooler,Id shift at 6K ,you'll just heat the air charge after that and actually slow down holding it in gear even though the dyno # says it keeps climbing, in reality my paxton mustang went 2 tenths faster short shifting at 5,500 rpm rather than 6,000. Maximum torque in the midrange will move you quicker than maximum HP on top.Oh yeh, 1st and 2nd gears will probably just light up anyway, so you'll probably have to short shift 1st at 3K and 2nd at 5K and be pointed straight in 3rd gear ,I spun it twice going into the passing lane,managed to keep it on the road.Keep the shiny side up!

Perry.
